Brooksville Regional Hospital Employee Named HMA Employee of the Year

Robert (Bob) Ingargiola, Lead Respiratory Therapist at Brooksville Regional Hospital, has been named Health Management Associates (HMA) Corporate Employee of the Year. Employing over 33,000 individuals in 58 hospitals throughout the country, HMA awarded only four individuals this prestigious honor.   

Gary D. Newsome, President and Chief Executive Officer, HMA and Bradley E. Jones, Division President will be presenting the award to Bob at a special ceremony held at Brooksville Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 15th at 3:30p.m.  


Bob started his career with HMA as a Pharmacy Technician. He began working in the Respiratory Therapy department in June 2000.   He continued with his education obtaining certification in Respiratory Therapy and became a Registered Respiratory Therapist in 2004.  He was promoted to Lead Respiratory Therapist in April 2008. 

Robert has a Nursing Home Administrator’s license and has a Bachelors’ degree in Health Care Administration and a Masters in Public Administration.  

Criteria considered for this award includes outstanding patient care and customer service as well as dedication to serving the community. Bob’s primary focus is his patients, anticipating their needs, often before they can request assistance.   

Whether providing health care, or educating other team members and the community, no detail is too small to command his attention and compassion.
