Brooksville Regional Hospital Supports Christmas Angel Program

Team Members, Volunteers and the Medical Staff at Brooksville Regional Hospital recently adopted 100 families from the Christmas Angel program.  The program serves Hernando County children from infancy through teenage years who have been deemed "in need" and referred by schools and charitable agencies. The hospital was provided with the children's wish lists, including clothing sizes and toy wishes. In addition to each department ‘adopting’ a child, the Medical Staff donated $1000. In all, 16 bicycles were donated as well.

“Christmas is a time for giving”, said Shauna McKinnon, Assistant Administrator and coordinator of the bike drive. “We are blessed to have team members with families who understand the importance of community and making a child’s wishes come true.”
